This plant is on a patch of wasteland near where we live (the same patch of wasteland as the trees were cut down from in yesterday’s Photo a day). Every time i walk past it i wonder if it’s comfrey? if so, as its behind the cabin where i assume the builders will have their meal breaks i’m thinking of – when i see someone there – asking them to dig it up for me so that i can put it in my garden. I can’t dig it up myself as its behind a fence, alas. I wouldn’t normally do that, take a plant from the wild, but if its going to be wiped out anyway, that’s a different matter. Anyone know if it is comfrey or not? (if it is, and i get it, i can make my own plant food. yum.)
