Its been a glorious day. Beautiful sunshine for the first time this year, its been warm enough that the kids have all been out playing, and i’ve been working out in the garden in a vest. I’ve had a very productive day! I’ve built staging, which is now standing outside the sitting room window. I used the remains of the greenhouses, which had inbuilt staging in both cases, and i’ve managed to stagger the staging so that one bit is higher than the other bit, which will look really good when its all full of pots with plants growing.

I’ve also set up some canes in the garden to support the raspberry canes.

It doesn’t sound like much but i’ve had to do a fair bit of clearing and work to clear the space where the staging is going to go, and find all the relevant parts for the staging. I’m just relieved i had enough parts.

I’ve also been snapping photos – of flowers, of Jess, even a shot of Manchester city centre, off in the distance. Apparently the weather is set to last all week.. hopefully, i’ll get lots done. Shots of flowers, jess and me behind the cut. 🙂

rare pic of me! Im tying in the raspberry canes to regular canes. (and Mum, they fruit on last years growth, and these were new last year. so no, i dont cut them, not yet. Or ill have no raspberries!)
