On my kitchen windowsill i have a number of houseplants that were bought from a supermarket before christmas to brighten the place up.. without labels (or rather, they have labels, but all they say is: not for human consumption. gee, ya think?).

my kitchen windowsill, L to R - Avocado plant, mystery plant no2, pot with coriander seedlings in, mystery plant no 1, pot with parsley (regrowing), mysteryplant no 2 again, mystery plant no 3, mystery plant no 4, two pots with fuschia clippings in at the front, and a terracotta pot with rosemary in.

I’d like to know what they are so that i can look up the instructions for caring for them. A couple of them are starting to have roots poking through the holes in the base of the pot: in some cases, this is a good thing, cos some plants do better when they’re a bit pot bound. I’d also like to know if some of them enjoy summer sunshine, if so, i might put them outside for the summer after i’ve repotted them to give them a good headstart before i bring them back inside for winter.

Anyway. Pics are behind the cut: if you can help, please do!! Many thanks!!
